With his small stature, and big personality, Antipodean goth Xty has been an integral part of the crew right since the start. He started tattooing back in 1998, cutting his teeth working long hours in the gritty old school biker run tattoo studios of Adelaide and Melbourne, before the draw of the bright lights of London brought him to Soho, where he first met Kids Love Ink founder Marcus.
25 years of experience working in demanding street shops in London and Australia have made Xty well versed in all types of tattooing, able to produce top quality work, whatever is asked of him. His personal style leans towards to the dark, realism side of things, in colour as well as black and grey. His love of horror, sci-fi, and surrealism all influences his tattooing, combined with inspiration from diverse sources from pop culture like HR Giger and Bekinski, through to medieval, ancient, and tribal art.
Xty enjoys creating art in other mediums such as oil painting, and detailed pencil drawings, alongside tattooing. His other big love is music, being a big fan of all things goth, punk, and post punk. He also has a deep knowledge and interest in science, sci-fi and futurism, as well as the philosophies associated with the artists he admires.
